Representatives of european and american patient organisations met for the second time at Aarhus
Representatives of patient organisations met for the second time in Aarhus.
The aim of the meeting was to share experiences and organise an international coalition to better coordinate the organisations' efforts.
PAO agreed that:
1. The next meeting will be organized by Spain (agenda) and US (Ronda, Zoom call). Will send a pool for decision of a specific date and time.
2. Others has suggested an annual World Wilson Day (6. December). This could be the short-term goal for a collaboration. The next meeting should be a planning meeting.
3. 1-3 meetings a year. The participants at one meeting decide when and who organizes the next meeting. Possibility for bilateral dialogues in smaller working groups if relevant.
4. Compiling a list of contact information’s.
5. A rotating principle is attractive to share resources and create co-ownership.
6. There should be one-point of contact for each association to avoid a “tsunami of e-mails”
7. Group photo can be shared on social media in relation to this international Wilson collaboration.
